Macau's Development Pipeline Includes 56 Hotels

Macau remains red-hot for hospitality-related developments, with 21 hotels being built and another 35 projects under review by the Special Administrative Region's Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau. According to the Xinhua General News Service, if all those projects come to fruition, they will add a total of 34,400 rooms to the Chinese gambling destination. Among the 21 projects under construction, six have less than 100 guest rooms each, eight have between 100 and 1,200 rooms, and five have 2,000 to more than 6,000 rooms.
