Mama Fu’s Streamlined Prototype to Debut

Mama Fu's Asian House, a 13-unit fast-casual chain, will unveil a new prototype that cuts building costs by about 20 percent, Nation's Restaurant News reports. Mama Fu's Franchise Group, which owns and franchises the brand, said the updated design "streamlines the construction process, enables franchisees to better serve customers and radically reduces build-out costs." The design, by Atlanta-based Back Lot Productions, will also include more Asian-inspired colors, architectural elements and decor elements. The first two units bearing the new design will open this spring in Texas.
