Continent to get two more Courtyards, a Renaissance
Marriott International said it has signed agreements that will add three more hotels to its growing lodging portfolio in Europe. The hotels are the:
•139-room Courtyard Wiesbaden Nordenstadt Hotel, Germany (opening: June 2011)
•124-room Courtyard Montpellier, France (December 2011)
•225-room Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel, Poland (2013)
Amy McPherson, president and managing director of Marriott International in Europe, said the new locales are part of a corporate goal of doubling its portfolio on the Continent by 2015. “As we grow in Europe, it is exciting see the development of our Courtyard by Marriott brand here as well as the opportunity to take our Renaissance Hotels brand in to destinations like Warsaw,” McPherson said.
