Emirates Airline and Group announced that Marriott International will operate Park Towers, a 1,614-room twin-tower hotel and apartment property project in Dubai. Emirates, an aviation and travel services provider in the Middle East, is currently building the $490 million project in Dubai's Business Bay district.
The hotel towers will operate under the JW Marriott Marquis banner. The first 807-room tower is scheduled to open in 2011, while the second is set to debut in 2013.
"The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai will be a unique and visually stunning hotel without pretense that welcomes the world to this incredible city," said Edwin Fuller, president and managing director, international lodging, Marriott International.
