Midwest Gaming & Entertainment will open the 147,000-sq.-ft. Rivers Casino Des Plaines in Illinois next month. The casino includes 44,000 square feet of gaming space that features slots, table games and dining/entertainment venues.
"Rivers will raise the bar for gaming and entertainment in the Midwest,” says casino ceo Greg Carlin. “We have created a unique and exciting experience that will appeal to enthusiastic gamers, entertainment seekers, tourists and conventioneers."
The casino also has a VIP gaming salon/lounge, the Lotus cocktail lounge and Cube nightclub/bar, which features a multi-level outdoor patio. Rivers’ food and beverage options include Hugo’s Frog Bar and Chop House, Canopy Buffet, FLIPT casual grill, MianBar Asian restaurant and Coffee Spot.
