MSC Cruises has launched the MSC Splendida, the second member of its luxury "Fantasia" class of cruise ships and its 10th vessel overall. The ship has a total of 1,637 staterooms, and features the MSC Yacht Club, which includes luxury 99 suites and a variety of private amenities and facilities. The ship's interiors, designed by De Joro Design Studio, combine modern and classical Italian designs.
The Splendida's amenities include an Aurea Spa; an Aqua Park main pool with 150 fountains and water jets, a North Pole-themed children's play center; two mini-bowling alleys in a high-tech sports bar; and the L'Olivo restaurant.
