1OAK locale to open on Vegas Strip
A Las Vegas version of New York’s high-profile 1OAK nightclub is in the works. Las Vegas-based Light Group said it will team with The Butter Group of New York to open a 1OAK nightclub at The Mirage Hotel & Casino late this year.
The new nightclub on the Vegas Strip will open in a space that previously housed the JET Nightclub, which is slated to close Sept. 6. 1OAK Las Vegas will feature interiors by Toronto-based design firm Munge Leung, along with works by artist Roy Nachum. “Combining The Light Group's expertise and experience in service and management with The Butter Group's edgy New York City style and energy, 1OAK Las Vegas will be a truly unique nightlife experience that will set new industry standards in Las Vegas,” Andrew Sasson, founder The Light Group, which currently operates 15 food and beverage venues within the Bellagio Resort & Casino, The Mirage, the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino and the ARIA Resort & Casino.
