Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. and Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corp. will develop a new 330-room Westin hotel in Vietnam scheduled to open in 2012. The resort on Cam Ranh Bay will include eight food and beverage outlets, swimming pools, spa, business center and a retail spaces. Starwood, which operates 15 hotels in the region, has 15 additional hotels in the pipelines under its Sheraton, Westin, St. Regis, W, Le Méridien, Four Points by Sheraton, The Luxury Collection and aloft brands.
