NYLO Hotels LLC has announced the first three franchises of its urban loft hotels. The new-build projects include two full-service NYLOs -- a 179-room hotel in Chicago's West Loop with W Developments LLC, and a seven-story property in New York's Financial district with Sentry Hospitality Ltd. -- along with a 127-room select-service XP by NYLO in suburban Dallas sith Behringer Harvard.
NYLO says its full-service NYLO locales costs 30 to 40 percent less to build than a traditional full-service property. "With its cost-efficient urban loft design and innovative construction, NYLO presents a new approach to hotel development that fits today's economy," notes Chick Armstrong, the brand's senior vice president of franchise development.
