Breeze, Maai locales to open next year
ONYX Hospitality Group has introduced two new spa concepts for its portfolio of hotels in Thailand. The mid-tier Breeze Spa brand will replace the Amari hotels’ existing spa concept, while the luxury Maai Spa will serve as an option for the five-star and luxury properties.
The first Breeze Spa will open at the Amari Hua Hin in April, and will feature a mood therapy treatment concept. Plans are also underway to refurbish the existing spas in all Amari properties with the Breeze design. The luxury Maai brand, named for the Thai word for silk, is slated to debut in Bangkok in late 2012 and will feature handcrafted fabrics and a manicure and pedicure bar.
ONYX Hospitality Group operates the Saffron, Amari, Shama and OZO hotel brands. The hotel management company also manages a portfolio of independently owned or franchised properties throughout Thailand.
