Advent Entertainment plans to the first Orange County Choppers Roadhouse this summer in Newburgh, N.Y., home of the custom motorcycle company's headquarters, shop and showroom. Orange County Choppers has gained fame in recent years as the subject of the reality cable TV show, “American Chopper,” on TLC.
The brand's 8,500-sq.-ft. flagship restaurant, designed by CORE architecture + design in Washington, D.C., will include a casual restaurant with a center bar and keg room with 165 beers on tap, a live music venue and a “Chop Shop” retail store. The locale will feature indoor seating for 225 and an outdoor patio with three fireplaces and open flame barbecue pit with seating for 100. A second phase, including a bowling alley, concert hall and microbrewery, are planned for next year.
Advent, which has the exclusive international licensing rights to develop, own and operate the Orange County Choppers Roadhouse, says it also plans open locales in Miami, Orlando, Las Vegas and Dubai. (The latter locale will also feature a hotel and Orange County Choppers showroom.)
“‘American Chopper' is one of the most popular reality shows in the world, broadcast in 162 countries and 35 languages, and we are creating an international entertainment, leisure and lifestyle brand to be enjoyed by people of all ages, food and beer aficionados, concert-goers, motorcycle enthusiasts, sports fans and night-life revelers,” said Mark Advent, founder and chairman of Advent Entertainment. “Orange County Choppers Roadhouse will exemplify the best of Americana and is being positioned to become a welcoming and fun-filled entertainment and leisure destination and experience.”
