Asian chain to open restaurants in seven provinces
P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc. has entered a long-term licensing agreement with Interaction Asian Restaurants LP to develop and operate P.F. Chang’s China Bistro in seven Canadian provinces. The Asian chain’s first Canadian location is scheduled to open in 2012; but the two companies did not disclose the locale of that restaurant nor how many sites in total will open under the agreement.
The agreement with Interaction Asian Restaurants covers the eastern and central provinces of Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. P.F. Chang’s other international markets are Mexico, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. The company operates just over 200 locales under its flagship brand, along with about 170 Pei Wei Asian Diners.
