Rezidor locale to open in 2013
The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced plans for the Radisson Blu Golden Horn Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. The 133-key property, which is slated to open in early 2013, will be owned by Dilek Holding, which also owns the Radisson Blu Şişli in Istanbul.
“Our core brand Radisson Blu is the largest upper upscale brand in Istanbul—our portfolio now comprises five hotels with 1,000 rooms in operation and under development,” said Kurt Ritter, Rezidor’s president and ceo. “Istanbul and Turkey overall are important markets for us as they offer considerable opportunities both within the business and leisure segment.”
The Radisson Blu Golden Horn Hotel will be located in Istanbul’s Pera neighbourhood, facing the Golden Horn, an famous inlet of the Bosphorus River. The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant and a rooftop restaurant, meeting space and a wellness area with an indoor swimming pool.
