B.R. Guest’s president unveils Postcard Inn on The Beach

Stephen Hanson, founder and president of the New York-based B.R. Guest Restaurants brands, has opened his second hotel, the Postcard Inn on The Beach in St. Pete Beach, Fla. Hanson describes the inn as “a reprieve from fussy hotels - a vintage American getaway, relaxed, beachy and carefree.”

The inns rooms -- co-designed by B.R. Guest design director Tara Oxley and Chris Sheffield of SL Design -- are reminiscent of surfers' digs, with such quirky decor elements as vintage light fixtures and refurbished surf gear. The inn also offers several dining options, including a beach bar, a “snack shack” and one of B.R. Guest's Wildwood BBQ & Burger outlets.

"The Postcard Inn on The Beach is an authentic reflection of its environment, incorporating the laid-back essence of St. Pete Beach," says Hanson. “Similar to opening the James, our first hotel property, we're looking to build a successful brand with unique character that will cater to all types of travelers looking for more than just the trendiest new hotel.”
