The Rezidor Hotel Group's 50th property in Germany is about to make its debut, and the Brussels-based company will open its 25th hotel in Africa later this year.
In Germany, 139 room Radisson Blu Badischer Hof Hotel, Baden-Baden is being rebranded this month. "This signing underlines our aim to further grow into depth in our German home market and also to increase the number of conversions we are doing," said Kurt Ritter, Rezidor's president and ceo. "With our partner Grand City Hotels & Resorts and Mark Hotels & Resorts we are already cooperating at the Radisson Blu Hotels in Stralsund, Bad Reichenhall, Dresden-Radebeul, and with the Park Inn brand in Weimar. We are delighted to add a fifth property, in Baden-Baden."
Meantime, in Africa, Rezidor announced plans for the Park Inn Ulysse Resort & Thalasso, Djerba - the first representative of that flag in Tunisia. The 259-room property hotel is scheduled to open in November.
