305-key hotel will be market’s fourth Blu locale
The Rezidor Hotel Group has unveiled plans for Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Şişli in Turkey. That new-build, 305-room property is scheduled to open in the fall of 2012, and will feature two restaurants, a ballroom, 20 meeting rooms, a spa and outdoor swimming pool.
The new hotel, owned by Dilek Holding, will be Rezidor’s fourth locale in the Istanbul market. “This clearly underlines how strategically important the Istanbul market is for our company”, said Kurt Ritter, Rezidor’s president and ceo.
Rezidor already operates the Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel in the city center and the Radisson Blu Conference & Airport Hotel near Istanbul. It also has the Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Asia under development.
