Las Vegas Sands Corp. announced that its Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem in eastern Pennsylvania will open May 22. Situated on the former site of a Bethlehem Steel plant, the resort will feature 3,000 slot machines and several entertainment/dining venues, including a 24-hour Cafe, an Irish pub, a gourmet market place and a steak house. The resort's master plan includes the eventual opening of a 300-room hotel, with rooms modeled after those at the company's Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas.
