Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and STX France Cruise SA (formerly Aker Yards) have resolved their dispute and agreed to continue building a single F3 ship, rather than two. The new-generation ship, weighing 150,000 tons and capable of accommodating up to 4,200 passengers, will be the largest in NCL's fleet when delivered in 2010. No details regarding the ship's design have been released beyond descriptions of its "New Wave" staterooms.
