Whale-watching in the desert? In Dubai, anything is possible, apparently.
Busch Entertainment Corp. (BEC), the family entertainment division of Anheuser-Busch Cos., and Nakheel PJSC, one of the world's largest property developers, will partner in the Worlds of Discovery - SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove - on The Palm Jebel Ali.
They'll bring nightlife as well as marine life to what is currently the world's largest man-made island. Nakheel's plan calls for the development of commercial, residential and shopping districts, as well as resort hotels and restaurants. The first phase is set to open in 2012.
