Food caterer may acquire Lenotre
Sodexo, one of the world’s largest food-catering companies, said it is in exclusive talks to acquire Accor’s Lenotre unit. According to Accor’s web site, Lenotre “is an ambassador for French gastronomy throughout the world. Pastries and cakes, catering, chocolates, candies, reception planning, restaurants—Lenotre comprises 45 luxury gastronomy establishments in 9 countries.”
In a news release, Sodexo said it views the potential acquisition “as a unique opportunity to develop its portfolio of Prestige activities in France and internationally.” Timing and terms of the possible deal were not disclosed.
