Space features jewel-inspired furniture
The St. Regis New York opened the Tiffany Suite on the 14th floor of the historic hotel on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The 1,700-sq.-ft. suite references the luxury brand with Tiffany blue accents and jewel-inspired furnishings.
"We incorporated at once stylish and whimsical elements while continuing to showcase the ever-engaging architecture and sumptuous touches characteristic of this great New York landmark hotel," says John Loring, design director emeritus of Tiffany & Co.
The suite includes an entryway foyer, a bedroom, two full baths, a living room and a dining room. The design of the latter space was inspired by the iconic Tiffany gift box, with custom blue walls and white crown molding.
The suite’s design also features an engagement ring-inspired entry consol, jewel-shaped armchairs, a crystal chandelier and handmade blue wall coverings with glass beading and silver leaf. Other amenities include Tiffany crystal barware and porcelain flower installations on the bedroom walls.
The St. Regis New York is a beaux arts-style building opened in 1904 by John Jacob Astor.
