Quintet of brands offered in bundled formats for airports, university and hospital sites

The owner of the Bruegger's Bakery Café, Friendly's, Fazoli's, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill and Timothy's World Coffee brands has announced plans to develop those fast-casual and dinnerhouse concepts in the on-site foodservice segment. In a move designed to take advantage of the economies of scale of Sun Capital Partner's restaurant holdings, the company said the five brands will be offered in a bundled format and will be featured in future requests for proposals at airport, university and hospital sites.

“We look forward to introducing our compelling suite of brands to concession directors, concessionaires and potential franchisees around the country with the goal of bringing a broader choice of quick, yet delicious portable menu options to alternative venues in our target markets,” said Chris Cheek, vice-president of franchise development at Bruegger's.
