Middle East version of London icon to open in 2011
Jumeirah Restaurants and Caprice Holdings are teaming to bring a version of London's famed The Ivy restaurant to Dubai. The new, 172-cover restaurant will open in The Boulevard, Jumeirah Emirates Towers in the spring of 2011.
Plans for The Ivy Dubai come on the heels of an announcement earlier this year that Jumeirah Restaurants and Caprice would team to roll out the latter firm's brands in the Middle East. Caprice Holdings locales include Le Caprice, Daphne's, The Ivy and Scott's. Jumeirah Restaurants is a division of Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, the owner of several high-profile luxury hotels in Dubai.
