Togo's Eateries Gets Updated Look

Sandwich chain works with WD Partners on brand refresh


Togo's Eateries Inc., a chain of 242 franchised sandwich shops across the western United States, has updated its restaurant design and brand touchpoints as it prepares for further growth. The company's new look includes a new restaurant prototype, along with an updated logo, menu board and packaging. Leading the update effort was Renae Scott, the company's vice president of branding and marketing, who worked in tandem with design consultant WD Partners.

“Since 1971, Togo's has been a true West Coast Original with a non-corporate brand personality, and straightforward focus on fresh, high-quality food, served in a deli-inspired one-to-one style,” said Scott. “We formed a core team of internal folks, franchisee partners and design experts to bring our brand heritage to life.”

Tony Gioia, chairman and ceo, said the updates “will add a renewed energy and improved consistency to the Togo's brand.” In conjunction with the brand refresh, the company plans to add at least 50 new Togo's locations throughout the West during the next two years.
