UK Hoteliers Face Falling Valuations

Hotel property valuations in the United Kingdom could fall by as much as 20 percent because of the sluggish economy, according to a report by caterersearch.com. As evidence of that trend, industry observers point to Marylebone Warwick Balfour's lowering the asking price for Malmaison and Hotel du Vin's from $1.24 billion to $1.15 billion.
