Seattle locale will also offer beer and wine
Starbucks Corp. is reworking a coffeehouse in its hometown of Seattle to feature an eco-friendly design and a 360-degree barista bar at its center, Nation's Restaurant News reports. In addition, the Starbucks at 1600 East Olive Way in Seattle's the Capitol Hill neighborhood will be the brand's first to offer beer and wine, in an effort to build afternoon and evening traffic.
This latest design initiative follows Starbucks' conversion last year of two of its Seattle locales to 15th Avenue Coffee & Tea and Roy Street Coffee & Tea, both of which offered snacks in the evening such as cheese plates and sandwiches, as well as a small selection of wines and local beers.
