Honors go to Asif Khan, Mischer’Traxler and Studio Juju
W Hotels Worldwide has bestowed its 2011 Designers of the Future Award on the following: U.K.-based designer Asif Khan; Austrian design team Mischer’Traxler; and Studio Juju in Singapore. The Designers of the Future Award, originally launched by Design Miami/Basel in 2006, recognizes young, emerging designers whose work reflects exceptional innovation and beauty in limited-edition design. The winners will present their work at Basel in June, and also see their designs used in select W Hotels around the world.
