Design of St. Petersburg hotel inspired by Fabrege Eggs
W Hotels Worldwide has made its debut in Russia, with the opening of a 137-key locale in St. Petersburg. Milan-based Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel Partners drew on the architectural ancestry of the city and jewel-tones of the famous Fabergé Eggs in their design for the hotel.
Amenities at the W St. Petersburg include miX, a signature restaurant, bar and rooftop lounge by Alain Ducasse, and a spa with an indoor pool. W Hotels is a unit of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
